Pfeil Linoleum and Block Cutters are high quality, Swiss-made carving tools suitable for either lino or wood cutting. Each tool is made from chrome vanadium steel, precisely forged, sharpened and polished for excellent results. Palm handles are made of hardwood from ecologically managed Swiss forests.

Full bolster and square tang for optimal stability. Internal steel ferrule under bolster prevents the handle from splitting. Tools are hardened to the edge of the bevel. Blades are electronically hardened to exacting tolerances.

This Pfeil range is split into L and B series (denoted at the beginning of the individual product code). The B series has slightly larger handles and a wider cutting edge than the standard L series. Both series are ideal for use with wood and linoleum and are made using identical steel and treatment. However, some artists may find the B series too large for fine linocuts.

Please note, if exposed to water or high humidity, these tools may rust. This can easily be removed and will not affect their performance.
